My name is Kjell Gilje. I am  living on the west coast of Norway. I was born in Stavanger, but I have lived in Vindafjord (in the fjords) for 21 years. Now I am living in Sandve, Karmøy together with Margaret.

I like fishing, and like to prepare fish meals. I have some favourites I will introduce for you and I hope it will inspire you to use fish for homely dinner. This is not a cookery book, but my hope is to give you some ideas for your own cookery.
I am living near by the sea, and it is possible to fish from my own garden. In the deep fjord there is many sorts of fish. For almost every recipes you can use various sorts of fish. Some of them are shown here.
