Roe-deer....how many?


Roe-deer, Latin, or scientific name:
CAPREOLUS CAPREOLUS. Roe-deer are ruminant belonging to the deer family,.
Roe-deer is a pair-toe hoofed animals. The length up to 1,2 m. The colour is
red-brown and the male, the roebuck, has a short, two–tree toothed antlers.
They are easy to recognise on the white blotch hindquarters. Are sexually mature
after one year. Copulate in July – August; and one to three og en–tre calves
are born in May - June. Are found all over Norway. Pictures of these two are
taken in Sandnes council.
